Wedding FAQS
How do you approach the wedding day?
I firmly believe that weddings should unfold naturally. I don't direct much or intervene in the timeline of your wedding day except for a few posed portraits. I like to let the mood of the wedding day and the personalities of you and your family influence the photographs, rather than letting my personality dominate. I'm low-key like that.
What are digital negatives?
Digital negatives are high-resolution JPG images from your wedding on a wooden keepsake USB. Each image will be fully edited and color corrected to make you look awesome.
How long does it take to get my images?
For weddings, around 2-3 weeks for the images to be uploaded into your online gallery with instant download access. For engagement and bridals, 1 week until the images are uploaded.
How do I reserve my wedding date?
Please fill out the contact form and I will confirm that I have your date available. A retainer amount of 1/2 of the total package cost (plus sales tax-yehaw!) is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use a Canon mirrorless camera with L-series lenses and multiple backup cameras.
Do you travel?
I travel within one hour of Tyler free of charge for weddings, bridal, or engagement sessions. Anything past that, I do charge the standard mileage rate.
How do you store and backup images?
I am a little bit OCD about storing and backing up wedding images. I shoot using a camera that has 2 cards. As soon as I get home, I put the images on my computer, and on a back up drive. I don't delete either card until the wedding is delivered, and I store them in two seperate spaces in case some natural disaster occurs. I've heard horror stories of people losing images, and I want to make sure that never happens for my clients!
