Why Choose Me
I have been photographing newborns and families for over nine years, and I have been trained in newborn safety by some of the industry's leading photographers. My studio space is located in Bullard and is loaded with tons of accessories for your baby's session.
Nobody likes awkward, stiff poses at their family session! I use a flow-posing method that involves a lot of movement and makes taking pictures fun and relaxing.
How It Works
- The session fees listed below include the time spent planning, shooting, and preparing your proofing gallery.
- Within three days from your session, you will receive a proofing gallery with all of the best images from your session! You choose your favorite images to purchase - no more buying photos you don't love and never use!
- Digital collections start at $225, and most clients spend $400 on their digital collections purchases. The session fee does not include images in print or digital form.
- After you've selected your photos and digital collection, I retouch and edit your selected images and deliver them back to you within two weeks.
Session Fees
Newborn Session - $250
Newborn sessions are taken within the first three weeks of life. Parent, sibling, and family photos are included and encouraged! These sessions are styled just for you and your color preferences. These sessions generally take about 1.5-3 hours to allow plenty of time for feedings.
Baby Milestones - $175
Milestone portraits can be done during your baby’s first year of life, but the most common ages are 6 months (or when sitting unassisted) and 12 months. This session generally takes about 45 minutes. Naked baby and 1-2 outfit changes are included.
Cake Smash- $250
Includes everything in the Baby Milestone session plus a custom cake smash setup in the theme or color scheme of your choice which includes the custom cake & decorations. Afterwards, the cake is cleaned off in a fun bubble bath set up!
Family - $175
My family session shooting style is very relaxed. I love capturing families snuggling, playing, being goofy, and loving on one another. These sessions take place outdoors in the Tyler/Kilgore area and include up to 1 hour of shooting.
Maternity - $175
Maternity sessions are usually shot between 32 - 36 weeks, but can be shot at any point in your pregnancy. Access to my studio wardrobe which includes custom maternity gowns, clothing from Free People, etc. is included in the session fee.
Seniors - $175
These sessions take place outdoors in the Tyler/Kilgore area and include up to 1 hour of session time. Wardrobe changes encouraged!
FAQ
When are you available for sessions?
All sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday. Studio sessions take place in the late morning or early afternoon. Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1.5 hours before sunset.
How long does it take to get my images?
I know you are excited to see your images, so I do my best to deliver them as soon as possible. You receive your proofing gallery within 3 days of your session, and then you receive your retouched purchased images from your digital collection within 2 weeks after selecting your images.
How do I reserve my session?
Please fill out the contact form and we will discuss dates for your session. The session fee is the retainer and is required to book your session. The digital collection fee is due when you select your images.
My newborn has a club foot, down syndrome or another special circumstance. Can we still have a newborn session?
Absolutely! I have been trained and had experience with newborns that have special circumstances. Your precious newborn can have a newborn session, we might need to make adjustments to accomodate them best.
What equipment do you use?
I use Canon mirrorless cameras with (way too many) L-series lenses and multiple backup cameras.
What about multiples? Do you charge extra?
For newborn sessions, there is no upcharge for multiples, but the newborn session could be a little longer than usual. If you are doing a cake smash, there will be a fee for an additional cakes.
Do you travel?
For outdoor sessions, yes. I am based out of Tyler and will travel up to 45 minutes for your session. If you are wanting your session more than an hour away, let's chat!
Who provides the props?
For newborn sessions, I do! Just tell me your color preferences, and I will have plenty of options ready to go at your session. If you have a few sentimental props to include, please let me know and we will work them in. For outdoor milestone and family sessions, my style is very simple and focused on the child or family, so the only props I bring are simple chairs, stools, or blankets. If you’d like anything else, please bring it along and we will work it in.
