Why Choose Me

I have been photographing newborns and families for over seven years, and I have been trained in newborn safety by some of the industry's leading photographers. My studio space is located in near downtown Tyler and is loaded with tons of props and accessories for your baby's session.

Nobody likes awkward, stiff poses at their family session. I use a flow-posing method that involves a lot of movement and makes taking pictures fun and relaxing.

Within three weeks from the session, a collection of professionally edited images (40+ images in both color and black & white) are presented in an online gallery with instant download and print release for all of the sessions listed below.

Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are taken within the first three weeks of life, and parent, sibling, and family photos are included. These sessions generally take about 3 hours to allow plenty of time for feedings.

FAQ

When are you available for sessions?

All sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday. Studio sessions take place in the late morning or early afternoon. Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1.5-2 hours before sunset.

How long does it take to get my images?

I know you are excited to see your images, so I do my best to deliver them as soon as possible. My turnaround time is within three weeks from your session.

My newborn has a club foot, down syndrome or another special circumstance. Can we still have a newborn session?

Absolutely! I have been trained and had experience with newborns that have special circumstances. Your precious newborn can have a newborn session, we might need to make adjustments, but absolutely, I’d love to meet him or her.

What about multiples? Do you charge extra?

For newborn sessions, there is no upcharge for multiples, but the newborn session could be a little longer than usual. If you are doing a cake smash and have chosen for me to style it, there will be a fee for any additional cakes.

Do you travel?

For outdoor sessions, yes. I am based out of Tyler and will travel up to 45 minutes for your session. If you are wanting your session more than an hour away, let's chat!

How do I reserve my session?

Please fill out the contact form and we will discuss dates for your session. A $50 retainer is required to book your session which is subtracted from the session fee.

What equipment do you use?

I use Canon digital SLRs with a handful of L-series lenses and multiple backup cameras.

Who provides the props?

For newborn sessions, I do! Just tell me your color preferences, and I will have plenty of options ready to go at your session. If you have a few sentimental props to include, please let me know and we will work them in. For outdoor milestone and family sessions, my style is very simple and focused on the child or family, so the only props I bring are simple chairs, stools, or blankets. If you’d like anything else, please bring it along and we will work it in.
